Each year certain players of this club who are concurrently in pursuit academic enlightenment participate in the University Games. The University Games is a competition where universities compete against each other in over 40 sports.

Orientation Week at the University of Sydney is always an exciting time.....The SUANFC boys outdid themselves again by having a great presence at their AFL Social Club stall and signing up plenty of potential recruits, supporters and friends. There was a lot of fraternising with the crowd as you would expect. Some observers commented that it was a very nice touch seeing the boys in their game day strip, all pumped and oiled up.
